Default Still have hope or accept miscarriage?

Back story, so based of my LMP I’m 7 weeks and 3 days. However my cycles are long 5/7 weeks (irregular). I took a Clearblue digital which said pregnant 2 weeks, so wouldn’t GP’s calculate that as 4 weeks pregnant?
I had an ultrasound today (external) and she said it didn’t look how it should at 7 weeks, I tried to explain my cycles but she wouldn’t listen. She didn’t do a blood test or anything, just told me to take another test in 2/3 weeks time.
I have had bleeding, bright red and cramps but I passed something large yesterday morning but the bleeding has settled into light spotting now.
Did anyone experience bleeding in early pregnancy and everything turn out okay? Or am I just hoping for a Christmas miracle?
    Thanks in advance

If it were just bleeding I would think it was ok but if you’ve had cramps aswell as passing something other than just blood, it does sound like a miscarriage. I haven’t had one personally but I was advised by a doctor that if blood and cramps were together then they are signs of miscarriage. Lots of people go on to have healthy babies after a loss, I wish you all the best xo

I’m sorry I agree with the above. I bled in my pregnancy and they kept asking me about clots. Since I didn’t have any that was a good sign. I hope we’re wrong though.
