Hi,
I’m a little worried. Through IVF I was prescribed 4 mg a day of Melatonin. We conceived but my fertility specialist never advised to stop Melatonin. I transferred to an OB but I can’t recall if I mentioned I was taking Melatonin? I’m now 12 weeks and went to my GP for my daughter and asked for a refill prescription and my GP advised that I shouldn’t be taking it?
I’m really worried as I’ve taken it everyday, not knowing I shouldn’t? Has anyone taken Melatonin in the first trimester and everything was ok? I can’t get ahold of my OB until Monday 😩

I’m on melatonin for sleep and my GP said it’s totally fine to keep taking. She only prescribes me pregnancy safe meds, before I was pregnant, so I didn’t have to worry or stop anything when I did get pregnant.

Pcos30, thank you for sharing. Could I ask what mg you are taking and did you take it everyday in pregnancy?
