    Default Super fund for IVF

Hello, I am starting the process of ivf in the new year however I want to access my super to pay the fees.
My husband and I have to do Karyomapping due to him having a chromosome deletion. Does any one know if the cost of these kind of tests are covered if my super is released ? Also do they release the funds in a lump sum ? Thanks in advance

Hi there is a thread on here somewhere about accessing super. I will try to find it and post the link. But basically yes the funds are a lump sum and if the karyomapping is medically necessary you can use your super. You would just need the quote from the clinic to include costs for karyomapping and have the dr say it is necessary. :-)
