Hi ladies, I’ll be testing on the 10th. Day 1 of fertile window is today. This is 2nd month of trying after a 4 month break (started a new job). I’m not getting my hopes up but this may be the last cycle trying on our own. First appointment with FS is on the 2nd of December, we’re looking to try IUI and see if we have any luck that way. Not sure how soon they start the actual process after initial consultation, may not be until the new year but I have everything crossed and hope this works out for us - I’m 37 and husband is 44, we’re trying for our first🤞🏼 Pregnancy hasn’t been an option for us until now due to financial reasons (husband is on a disability pension for PPPD). We are sitting comfortably now but husband is not keen to go through IVF so really hope IUI works for us instead. I’m scared that motherhood may not be something I experience so I’m really counting on a Christmas miracle! Good luck to everyone for BFP’s this month - what a beautiful time of year! ❤️

Coming over from the November thread.. This is our 2nd mth trying naturally for bub#2. We have been doing ivf since 2012 and got dd on cycle 5 1st FET in 2016. I've had 2 cp, one on my 5th cycle and the other more recently in September naturally.
We are on a break from ivf as i think we may need to head o/s for DE but for now we are trying naturally!
I will be testing on the 13th!
    Good luck all xx
What a journey you’ve been on! I will keep my fingers crossed for a BFP for you this cycle, what a Christmas present that would be! Xx

I will be keep my fingers crossed for you this cycle

I’m 37 in a few days and my partner is 41. I’ve had my cycle shorten from 28 to 24 days over the last 3 months and am not even sure I’m ovulating at the moment. I might have to take the IUI route also if the next 2 cycles aren’t successful.

It can be a lot to take in so I will keep my hopes up for BFPs for both of us this month for Christmas xx

@JanieH i also have short cycles 24 /25 days. I have been taking vitex, and vitamin b6 for the past 3 mths and its moved my cycle abit. I used to ovulate on day 9/10 but in the past mth or so i've ovulated on day 11/12 or 13, my cycle this mth has been 26 days. Trying to at lest get it to 27 or 28 days! 🤞

I’ve been thinking mine is to do with stress and lack of sleep... I’m going to try some Magnesium before bed and meditation to see if I can reduce the cortisol in my system

The great news is you’re ovulating! My OPK has only detected high fertility so far from CD 9 to CD 12 (today). No sign of ‘Peak’ fertility yet so I’m hoping tomorrow with my shortened cycle as it’s odd it hasn’t happened yet. If I don’t have that LH surge, I’m scared I haven’t been ovulating since my cycle has reduced 3 months ago.

Maybe my cycle is going to be a little longer this month? FX for my LH to spike tomorrow because I am ready to get pregnant!

I think I will O tomorrow (CD 15). Got my first peak fertility reading on the CBAOK that detects both oestrogen and LH. First day of LH surge today.

So I think I can test as early as the 6th of December!

    Good luck everyone!
