Lol that's the same reason i bought DDs ones, thinking it was silly to buy something so much earlier than she'd actually use them and i actually got them out because i wanted to play with them and she was so interested in them. We've played with them almost every day since then and shes 2 now. I even bought a second set to keep in mint condition for her keepsake box because they were her favourite toy for so long i have many memories of her playing with them and I hope she'll be able to play with them with her kids. Beautiful quality toys are such lovely things.

Her favourite was the lady bug.She would tip them all out every morning for months and look at every single tile one by one until she found both lady bugs.20181023_120546.jpg20181023_121444.jpg

Buy Aussie books from Book Depository as postage is free and they can get sent straight to your brother.

    Hi CanaidanKangaroo,

An idea are the personalised Australian animal blocks from Noc Noc Wooden Toys. They are also from rural Australia. https://www.nocnoc.com.au/collection...nalised-blocks

I've bought from them several times now and they also gift wrap free of charge. Their products are Australian made and really beautiful Ive bought their Personalised DOB rattle as gifts for new babies and it makes a beautiful gift. https://www.nocnoc.com.au/collections/personalisation

Also for anyone looking for first Christmas gifts I love their Christmas bundles. https://www.nocnoc.com.au/collections/christmas

Those are gorgeous too. If only I was made of money I'd order everything. I think I'm good for Christmas but I'm going to save these ideas for her birthday

What about the individual coins/coin sets you can get from the mint or post office? They often feature Australian wildlife?
