My brother had a baby 6 months ago. Unfortunately for me, he still lives in Canada so I probably won't meet her for a while.
I'd like to send something that is uniquely Australian for Christmas. Has to be relatively small for postage.
I absolutely love these cards by Modern Monty but she's a bit young for these. I might get them anyway. It gives an idea of the sort of thing I'm looking for.
Bonus points if it's from a business in the bush I can support.

I know it might not go down well for some people given it’s Rolf Harris, but Six White Boomers?
Otherwise I’m sure I’ve seen an Aussie version of the Night Before Christmas.
Some good ideas on this webpage:

My dd had a set of memory cards like these from kmart. Not as nice as these but we played with them from around 6 months, at first id just show them to her, then she liked tipping them out all over the floor and the sound they made, then she liked to put them in their container and tip them out, then she used to sort through them to find her fabourite picture, then we used them for her to find the ones i named and she recognised, then she'd find the one that matched the one i was showing her, we still havent got round to actually playing the memory match game.
So there are lots of ways she could use them even if she's still very little. I think they are a beautiful timeless open ended kind of toy.
Or if not, maybe just a stuffed animal koala or kangaroo?
