    Default Outdoor items?

What do your kids really enjoy outside? DS is 5 and he has a trampoline, balls, trucks, small sand pit and a few other things but he doesn’t seem overly thrilled. He does enjoy everything he has and plays a lot out there but you can just tell some days he’s over it.
He is an only child so I guess it can be pretty boring but we are sort of stuck for ideas..? We can’t always be out there playing.

    Thanks!

How about a raised garden bed that he can tend to himself? We are gardeners so I don't know if it's just monkey see monkey do, but my girls (5 and 7) both love it. If you're OK with mess, mud and dirt that is!

I don't know what they're called, but maybe one of those soccer goal net things that the ball rebounds off? He can do that alone

    Dome climbing frame

Can you rig up some ropes so that you can hang sheets over and make a tent?

An easel with paints, crayons etc? Do you have an undercover area where you could leave art things out?

What about a fish pond (made safe with mesh etc). It can be mesmerising watching fish swim.

We also have a bird cage outside, the kids love watching the birds and talking to them. We put a chalkboard on the side of the shed for the kids which they play with and a basketball ring has been another popular thing.
