@tinker27 has Dr NK indicated why DE hasn't worked so far? Are you planning to do the next cycle with a new donor?

    Hi ladies

I am going to Embryoland in Feb to have our 2nd transfer with Dr Nikos.

We will transfer 1 of our 2 remaining embryos.

Just wondering if anyone has any new tips or knows anything else to assist in the transfer working?

I’ll be taking anti biotics, pro biotics etc, intralipids, progynova and progesterone pessories.

Anything else anyone has recently done or added?

Can anyone help with what day of my cycle we do the transfer on again? (I’ve forgotten) I’m on the pill now controlling my cycle.

Also about to have a hysteroscopy and D&C this week also. Doing acunpunture also.

Thanks so much in advance xox

    Good luck @aussiesoftogreece

Having a hysteroscopy this month is good before you you go and have a transfer.

The transfer should be done after 5 full days of being on progesterone.

My last successful cycle I was also on 40mg Clexane and Plaquenil, but that was because of my blood results with Dr PE- so not for everyone

Plaquenil is used to treat lupus sufferers,
With fertility it can be taken by people with an autoimmune disease.
It was prescribed to me as I have an autoimmune disease affecting my thyroid and also have the markers in my blood tests of lupus without having the disease. I was also told this by Dr NL back when I was seeing him.

Hi @gorgeousgeorge, I'm glad you're ok, I was wondering how close that fire was to you.
I don't want to whinge when people are facing fires and we've been lucky to not have fire, but the smoke in Canberra for the past month has been unlike anything I've experienced in my life. Acrid, even indoors. I packed the kids up on new years day and we went to Sydney as soon as the highway re-opened during the worst of the south coast fires. It's been stressful thinking what it's doing to such young lungs.
