@LeeLee1980 yes I was on BCP in the lead up, had been on Plaquenil since May, had hysteroscopy & D&C in June, course of antibiotics in the 2 weeks before heading to Greece, we also did MACS sperm sorting & PICSI as well as PGS due to DH having very high DNA fragmentation (despite always having normal sperm analysis results). Also had my thyroid levels under control & taking prednisolone this cycle which I've never used before.

DH was also taking Menevit, COQ10 & vitamin B12.

I also made this trip a bit of a holiday going to the islands before transfer so I was definitely more relaxed & the day before transfer went swimming in lake vougliameni which is meant to have healing properties, bit superstitious but who knows....

And & I should add that the biggest change was going to Iakentro in Athens as my 2 previous failed DE cycles where in Cyprus.

@Hopeful137 ive only had the 2 blood tests which showed HCG rising nicely & progesterone had lifted significantly after just 2 days on crinone. I also started pessaries as well to be safe. No more bloods now. Scan is booked for next Thursday so I'm feeling a bit anxious & cautious until we see a heartbeat.

    How are you going?

That’s fantastic! I’m glad to hear the progesterone went up too My levels are also tracking well but this is my 5th ivf pregnancy (one child) so I’m also a bit anxious and feel like I’m holding my breath! My levels are much better than the failed pregnancies though so that’s reassuring. I’ve also got an ultrasound booked for next Thursday! It’s a week earlier than the norm at my clinic but I had an ectopic rupture at 6 weeks so they are happy to let me have an early one for peace of mind. Mainly to check that it’s inutero, we’re not expecting to see a heartbeat...but that would also be nice

@Hopeful137 great news also your having an early scan! Be interested to know if it's twins for you as your levels are pretty high.

    Fingers crossed for us both!

Yeah I’m interested to see! I have another blood test on Friday too (5w) so will be interesting to see if they’ve slowed down a bit.

What were your second blood levels? I only recall reading your first. Are you suspecting twins?
