On the public/private thing - one thing anyone undecided can do is have initial appointments with both, ask what the care plan would be, get a feel for what they'd be getting, all before deciding. You aren't locked into paying private ob fees at the start, they usually only get you to commit by a certain gestation.
Also, I probably sound like a cheerleader for the public system, but the whole few-and-far between appointments thing wasn't my experience at all. I went in every couple of weeks mostly, weekly from 33 weeks.

Hi ladies, does any Melbourne ladies have any Prolutex they don't need that I could possibly buy from you?
I stupidly didn't stock up in Greece as I thought I had plenty from my Cyprus cycles but turns out I only have 2 boxes & now I'm stressing!

Hi ladies. I was going to go back to Athens next year to transfer my last embryo but then decided to go next month. But then last night decided to go this month, I leave in 10 days. My way of thinking is, why wait, I’m old, I don’t have time to waste, let’s get this happening.
I’m a little anxious as I will be leaving Christopher behind with his dad, but really how much damage can DH do in 9 days. I just need to remind myself that I am doing this for him, so he can have a sibling.
Keep your fingers crossed for me.

@mrs173 how exciting!!! Good luck
🤞🤞
‘How much damage can DH do in 9 days’ LOL!!!!
I’m sure Christopher will be fine with his dad for that time but it must be totally nerve wracking to leave him for the first time
Good on you for deciding to leave now instead of waiting till next year,
Will have everything crossed for you xx

Such exciting news!! Fingers are crossed and so are the toes!! The next 10 days will go by very fast!! Keeping my fingers crossed that you come back with excess luggage!!! Your DH will get some quality time with bub and see the amazing work you do day in day out. Hope his hearing is good. My DH doesn't hear christos crying at night... or so he says!!! Lucky for Christos, mum is very responsive!!! Sending lots of baby dust your way!! Xxx
