No she will attend preschool 2020 & 2021 as her birthday is beginning of July we think it best to start “big” school at 5 turning 6 rather then 4 turning 5. I would definitely have her in 2 or 3 days the year before she starts school. I just don’t know if two days strait up when she’s never been will be too much? Thanx for the reply

Mine both started 2 days at 3/3.5 after being in no previous care, they did fine. Preferable to one day IMO.

I would go for 2 days the first year, then the year before she starts school increase it to 3 days.

My DS did 1 day a week for the first year, but that was mainly because that's all they had available. The year before he started primary school he did 3 days.

Default How many days when starting Preschool?

In Sa the year before school we are entitled to 15 hrs a week spread over 2-2.5 days. Around 80-90% of kids here do stand alone very cheap preschool nearest to their primary school and the rest pay day care to do it there

Thanx for all the reply’s. I know she will love it & want to go every day given the chance, I just don’t want her to feel overwhelmed. We are leaning towards to 2 days a week which we have been accepted into already, waiting to hear back from the other centre.
