    Default 7 seater cars

Those who use the 3rd row in their 4x4/SUV daily - how do the kids go getting back there? I think I'd put my 6 & 8yos in the 3rd row.

We need a new car but only have about $6000 to spend.

One RF, one FF, 2 in (untethered) boosters.

Would consider a Tarago or similar but there's not really any around in our price range at the moment. We are in SA.

Had a Chrysler Grand Voyager and not going back there!

    Cheers

Hi there. I have a 7 seater and I use the back row daily. I have 4 kids myself but I also do Family Day Care so I have 4 FF car seats in ...3 in middle 1 in boot. So I have to put mine in through the boot. If I didn’t have tethered car seats i would put them in by pulling the middle seat forward as that would def be easier.

I have a Santa fe 7 seater and love it, I have ff car seats in the middle row, the other kids just jump in through the boot, put one seat down and they get it then lift the other seat up, if they were in boosters back there I’d just get them to jump over the seats.

I have a Ford Everest with 3 kids seats in the second row. Two rear and one forward facing. Anyone using the third row has to go in via the boot. DS1 was in there for a while before I managed to squeeze 3 seats in a row. We have a tow ball for our caravan on the back so he used to stand on that to help himself get in.

We have a Sante Fe and love it. Put RF and FF seats in the 2nd row. Our 8 year old either sits in the middle or the 3rd row. He either jumps in the boot or goes through the middle.

Same! Love my car! The back seats are so sturdy compared to other 7 seaters too.

Haven’t heard of the Santa fe. I have a Holden Captiva. I have a ff and rf in second row and my teen likes sitting in the third row and has to get in via the boot. They’re a pretty good price range, got mine for 6000
But I got it in diesel which apparently has a better reputation than the petrol ones. Good spacious car.
