    Default Lulladolls

Does anyone have one? Are they worth the money? I’ve read rave reviews but they are so expensive!!

I have riff raff. Helped my transfer him to his cot but they aren't magic sleep cures in my opinion.

I have a Riff Raff. Absolute waste of money if you ask me. Bought a $5 toy from Kmart that looks the same but no sound from Kmart and have more luck with that! My best friend found the same with her Riff Raff.

Another friend has a lulla doll and she loves it, said it definitely helps BUT said it’s super loud (no volume control) and chews through batteries like no tomorrow (she said she has to change them every week/every fortnight).

I contemplated one but hearing what others had already told me I haven’t bothered. If dd could have a pillow the Shape and feel of my boob she’d sleep 12 hours a night but alas there isn’t one

The new ones have volume control and longer battery life.

We had one (years ago) and the voice thing was creepy, reminded us of darth Vader and stopped working after only a few weeks.
Although ds2 did still often cuddle or play with the doll without the sound box inside it

We used a Lulladoll with DD and it is amazing. She’s 2 yrs old now and still sleeps with it but thankfully without the sound box in now. She was the sort of baby that would only sleep on me and using it was the only way to get her to sleep in her own cot. Most times when I would go in to her in bed (not as a newborn obviously) she was asleep with her head on it just like she would do on my chest. We bought rechargeable batteries and would change them over every 4 days or so. I believe the newer version has volume control and goes for 12 hours instead of 8 hours so worthwhile changes.
