Default father’s day - what are you up to?

what’s on the agenda for sunday?

mainly asking because i need ideas

only thought i’ve had so far is to maybe do a mini dad spa at home, like buy a nice face mask and body scrub and hand cream and ds can give dh a spa treatment could be good for a giggle/messy play if nothing else 🤣

We are going to Hugh Jackman at night (with my friends ) and DD has swimming in the morning. I’ve told DH to work out with his dad what they want to do in between so 🤷‍♀️ not much help.

It was dh's birthday last week so I'm all out of ideas. He is the hardest person to buy for. I just leave it up to the kids now. Dd gets him a gift from school and ds makes something at kindy.

I will take them to the shops and let them pick something.

oh ds has swimming in the morning too. it’s dh’s 40th the next day so it’s hard to know what to do. i’ve got his surprise party the following saturday night but i feel a bit confused as to what to do for father’s day as it’s his actual bday the next day and we will prob go for lunch. just feels like overkill to do a big father’s day too.

I’ve bought DH and DD matching bathers/swimmers/togs so that will be a little bit cute on Sunday at swimming

We will be driving from Brisbane to Cairns on Sunday, so not much of a Father’s Day. We went for a picnic last weekend to a nice waterfall and had a lovely family day. If we weren’t traveling we would usually do breakfast out and then do something together (we live in a tourist town so usually do something touristy).

We aren’t celebrating Father’s Day at all this year but mum and I are taking the kids to the Bunya Mountains for the day with some other family members. Will be good to get the fresh air and also be out of town.

My parents are coming over for lunch as we haven’t seen them for a while and they have birthday presents to give us. So we’ll have a lunch and then as a surprise DH’s going to take Dad to see the Danger Close movie.

Kids will be buying pressies at the school Father’s Day stall.

Nothing planned. Fil and sil2 are supposed to be coming down Saturday but who knows if they will or not. Sunday we will probably go see my grandad and grandpa at some stage, and my step dad if he is in town. Have bought dh some shirts from Best & Less and a couple have matching outfits for ds. The other shirts are from me and the girls will buy him stuff at their school Father’s Day stall. He is having a boys weekend on the long weekend in October, him and his mates are going on a reef fishing charter so I’m classing that as his big Father’s Day thing
