Murdoch Children’s Research Institute is conducting a project aiming to understand parents’ opinions around expanding newborn screening to include genomic sequencing and its potential outcomes. We are looking for Mums and Dads who have at least one Australian-born child under the age of 18 to complete a 30 minute survey.

The survey will ask about your opinions and attitudes towards introducing genomic screening into the newborn screening program to provide a risk score for your child relating to chronic conditions such as Cardiovascular Disease and Type 2 Diabetes. Your responses to survey questions will remain completely anonymous, and no identifying information will be attached to your data.
