    Default Infacol

    Hi,

Does anyone know if you can still purchase infacol anywhere?

I know there was a recall last year but I can’t seem to find it at any local stores.

I’ve found one website that you can purchase it from, but everywhere else says out of stock.

Was the recall just certain batches (which is what I thought) or did they pull it from the shelf completely?

Any other recommendations for wind pain??

I tried gripe water and infants friend with DD1 but infacol did the trick. DD2 so far doesn’t need anything but I’d like to have something on hand just incase.

I wanted it for ds2 and it was brilliant. Looked for ds3 and it was nowhere to be found locally. I tried infants friend but don't think it worked as well.

Our MCHN recommended a probiotic- bio Gaia. Don't do what I did and go straight for the full dose of 5 drops. Made it worse. Looking online, people say to start at 1 drop a day and work your way up.

@SJ565 did you find the probiotic drops helped? Did the 1 drop increase per day work or would you recommend starting slower like 1 extra drop after 2 or 3 days? P.s. hope you are well my friend :-)

@Mashie The recall was just for certain batches due to o out of date, not a consumer safety issue. Google said would not cause any harm if you had the out of date batches.

@SJ565 I might try the probiotics. Thanks. Do you breast or formula feed?

Tried to buy it in January and was told it was recalled. Was devastated because it worked so well with my older kids
