    Default breastfeeding

hello! so im planning on giving breast feeding a go once I deliver. I have the Medela breast pump but only a couple small bottles that came with it. has anyone used this brand of pump? what did they think? If I were to buy extra attachments like milk storage bags and bottles, do I have to buy the same brand or would cheaper alternatives fit & work just fine?
I don't want to spend heaps of $$$ incase breastfeeding doesn't work, but also want to be prepared.
    thanks heaps

I don’t think the brand of milk storage bags matter. Just whichever you prefer to buy. I think I used to get the medela ones but only because they sold them at coles so easy to get. Good luck with breastfeeding! If you haven’t already, look up the Australian breastfeeding association, they have so much useful breastfeeding info x

FYI swissper brand bags cost about 1/4 of the medela ones! They sell them at chemist warehouse. I had a medela pump and it was great. Dont stock up on bottles yet, until you know if you need them and then you can pick what size/brand etc at the time.
