Hi All, sorry I haven’t had time to go through all of the posts but I’ll keep reading through. For those who have gotten a BFP congratulations and for those who have had a BFN, I hope you have better luck next time. For those who are still going thro good luck 🤞🏼 And for those who have been on this roller coaster for some time, I hope you get off soon and get a much awaited BFP. AFM I’m trying a natural FET. I have 2 tested frosties and a few untested. I don’t want to go thru another egg collection etc. I’m scheduled for a transfer Monday but I’m freaking out for some reason. I ovulated yesterday and I have day 5 embies. I did a medicated FET last year which gave me my beautiful DS as I have lining issues so meds were needed. I also did an immune protocol. This time I’m completely natural, hence the freak out. Lining was good CD13 at over 7 and I didn’t ovulate until CD17. All the medication I’m taking is progesterone from tomorrow. What’s everyone’s experience? Who else is doing a natural FET?

Haha! I know that feeling! How many more frosties do you have? Will you try a different approach this time?

I’m going to ask to increase my progesterone although I think this cycle’s going to be cancelled. My transfer day looks like next weekend and there are no transfers on weekends.

Good luck to everyone still in for this cycle
@BabyO On my first ivf, my first bfn absolutely devastated me! So just have the biggest cry. Yep I was the same! I kept trying to tell them my body is fine I want to try again this cycle but I had to wait for the following one which was 8 weeks all up until the next transfer 😩 but my last frostie is now my lovely 18month old girl.

The waiting is the worst! I waited so long for June transfer which was cancelled due to fluid and my August transfer was cancelled due to high estrogen from breakthrough ovulation ( hopefully not a cycst which can cause high estrogen) so now who knows when I’ll get my transfer. It’s driving me crazy 😩

Had my day 10 scan yesterday and Dr said I everything much more like day 3 than 10. Said there weren’t any lead follicles that he could see and to come back Monday for another look. Had my blood test and he rang me and said my oestrogen was higher than he thought it would be based on what he saw so I’m going back in tomorrow for an additional BT.

Reading your post above @Mumma2be13, could that higher level be caused by a cyst?? I might do some research on that as I wasn’t aware. I haven’t heard of breakthrough ovulation either! *runs off to google it*

Is this a natural or hrt FET? If it’s a hrt FET I can tell you what my levels are usually like to compare if that helps

I had a transfer this Monday, it was a FET. The only medication I had is a trigger, not even progesterone, which makes me nervous but convinced by my FS that it is not necessary. I am now worried as I have no symptoms at all except feeling a bit bloated. Comparing with my last fresh transfer where I had lots of symptoms, ended with a miscarriage. So really not much experience to share. Good luck next Monday!

I don't see my FS an till the 2nd Sep so I don't know yet if it will be a natural or hrt FET, as it will be my first FET I'm in the dark as to what to expect until I see him.

Honestly I know very little about the process for FET I've seen a lot of comments about canceled cycles does that happen more with hrt or natural? Do they suppress ovulation in both? Does timing eg weekend's cause a bit of it?

Waiting is the worst! But we only got one frostie so as much as I'm ready I think being forced to wait may be a good thing, if that embie doesn't take we will be stimming again so my poor ovaries could probably use the recovery time.

I totally know how you feel. Im in the 2ww of a natural cycle. I had my transfer on Monday (5/8) and my FS has prescribed Pregnyl 1500 x1 (4/8) and Decapeptyl 200 x 1 (8/8) for Luteal support this time round. Previously have had taken progesterone pessaries and in another cycle progesterone pessaries/pregnyl x3 combination. My last two cycles I've felt much more held together but for some strange reason I'm very unsettled this time round. I thought a natural cycle would be more chilled. haha This was our last frosty so if it doesn't work I'm on to a STIM cycle. I promised that I wouldn't test till blood test but i stupidly tested yesterday and today and I'm sure the very faint line is from the pregnyl but the crazy in me is hoping it gets darker. Good luck with your transfer and fingers crossed for a positive for you. x

Ive done two FET's and both where fairly natural. Last time I did have a couple of shots of Gonal F as my folicles were developing a little slowly. In that cycle I didn't trigger and just had luteal support with progesterone pessaries and pregynl 1500 x 3. This cycle I had nothing, they monitored when i ovulated via blood test and have been only prescribed pregynl 1500 x1 day before transfer and Decapeptyl 200 x 1 3 days after transfer for luteal support. I guess your FS will assess and advise but my FS will transfer regardless on what day transfer falls on (I have done a Sunday transfer) and will work on where you are at in your cycle. I hope that gives you a little insight but i'm sure the other lovely ladies here have far more information than I do as I have only done two FET's so far. Good luck x
