I got my PGS/PGD results this afternoon. 4 are ok to transfer which I’m happy with.

Question for the ladies who have had an FET, I’m on CD 16 but don’t feel like I have ovulated. If I have ovulated, does that count me out for the transfer this month AKA do they need to see ovulation to work out what day to transfer? Is there any possibility of a transfer this month if I have ovulated but I’m not yet at 5 days past ovulation but they haven’t tracked my cycle yet?

Such great numbers, great news! That would be great if you were able to transfer this month too

If you’re doing a FET this month are they not tracking your cycle? I’m on cycle day 11 and I had a blood test and scan yesterday and have another tomorrow and a blood test on Saturday and probably another scan and blood test Monday. Unless they’ve been tracking you they don’t transfer it. Is this your first period after stims? It took 6 weeks for my body to get back to normal so that could be why you haven’t felt you ovulated?

Yes, it’s imperative to know what day you ovulated.
Do they know you are doing a FET this month? If so then they usually track you from CD11 or so with bloods and ultrasound. You normally call from CD1 and they give you the dates in advance for your blood test etc. They monitor you the whole cycle. You can’t unfortunately rock up mid cycle and pop an embie in

I’d suggest calling them first thing and confirming that you’re both on the same page about doing an FET this month.

Well no, they said I have to wait for the genetic results then they will check where I am in my cycle. They also said the results will take 3-4 weeks but they only took 2. I got my period 6 days after egg collection so on CD16 now and I think I’ll ovulate tomorrow or the next day. I wish they tracked my cycle just in case, they seem to want to wait for one thing to be completed before they start the next even though if they did things in parallel it would speed everything up. I’m a project manager so programmed to look for efficiency.. this inefficient eats away at me 😆.

Yeah I got my period 7 days after my fresh transfer but it took amost a month after that to ovulate again and my cycle is every 28 days usually and I know a lot of other women are the same after stims they really throw your cycle out so don’t be surprised if you don’t ovulate tomorrow but hey you still could of course! usually they like a few blood tests and scans to track everything so I would guess that you’ll have to wait until next time. The waiting really really sucks tho hey.

Could the spotting have been the result of the transfer itself? One of my transfers was particularly traumatic (the specialist was a tad rough) and I spotted for about two days afterwards.
Thanks for replying @Toebeans that’s reassuring to know 56 is normal. I haven’t had any further spotting so I’m hoping that’s a good sign. I kept telling myself it was either from the transfer itself or secretly hoping I implanted really early! Congratulations on your BFP by the way. How are you feeling?
