Hi ladies, just a quick update on me... so after hubby doing DNA frag test & FISH analysis, appears we may have found our problem. DNA frag was 80% - anything above 30% is considered poor. So looking at either doing the MACS sorting or possibly even testicular biopsy. Luckily FISH showed very low rate of abnormal DNA, completely within normal range but they only test 5 chromosomes so we have been recommended to do PGS again since we had only about 50% tested normal on our last 2 cycles. Which led us to choose Iakentro in Athens.
So my hysteroscopy was all fine, no polyps or fibroids just low grade endometris which can be fixed with a course of antibiotics. I've started the pill this week & we have booked flights! We're flying out 21st Sept & will be in Greece for 2 weeks.
Skyping with Ruth tonight as they have found a donor! Feeling mixture of excitement & nervous, this will be our 3rd DE cycle after the 2 failures earlier this year in Cyprus. On that note, i've tried to get further info on the cycles from the Cyprus clinic & now they just refuse to answer my emails or messages.
Hope everyone else is going well!

Hi everyone! It’s been a little while since I’ve posted anything!
So happy to hear the wonderful news to the ladies I’ve known for a long time. Hard to believe it’s been 5 years that I’ve been in this thread.

Just an update with us (for those that don’t know we went through 5 rounds with Dr N all unsuccessful with every possible surgery and medical protocol done). We are the only Aussie couple he’s had to go through this many rounds with no pregnancy.

We are currently in Europe and this week signed surrogacy contracts after what has been a harrowing, exhausting, stressful, emotional and huge financial journey.
This is our only hope and both Dr N and our fertility specialist in Oz have been very supportive and wrote letters explaining what we’d done and how surrogacy was now the only option etc.
Our surrogate will have transfer sometime in September and then we’ll go from there. The journey begins...... again!

I still and will always be a huge advocate for embryoland and Dr N and his team. They went over and beyond for us but unfortunately we just fell into that very small percentile that it will never work for. Some of us have to end up in that category and the cards fell that it was us through no luck of trying and doing everything right.

I will check in from time to time to keep up to date with those of you I’ve gotten to know so well over the last few years.

    Much love to all.

That is great news @Mydreambaby , at least you know now that there was an issue with sperm.
And great your hysteroscopy went well.
It’s all a bit nerve wracking isn’t it and so many mixed emotions going through this process,
I really hope that this trip in September will be your final, successful round!

So I am on my way to Greece, just arrived in Doha.
I have the usual mixed feelings that I’m sure all you ladies have felt- excitement, anxious and trying to block out my thoughts on if it doesn’t work, arghhhh!!
So this will be another full donor cycle, new donors, new clinic, so praying this will be my time!

Thanks for checking in on me. I have indeed done some FRERs, feeling pretty happy with these lines so far. Good first beta yesterday and going back for the follow up on Monday.
