So glad to hear this @Kalina. xx

@Kalina I am so glad to hear DH has bonded well with DD2. That must be a huge relief!
@gorgeousgeorge so excited to hear the catheter is gone. Woo hoo!
@Aok I can’t wait to see your next line! I know the anxiety when you’re worried if this one will stick. I get that too. But it’s also double donor (mine too!) which means a whole new ballgame. Best of luck with today’s FRER!

So much has happened in the last 9 weeks. I did a quick scan through the comments and I’m thrilled with all the Bfp’s and births. Congratulations ladies.
To those in Greece or heading over, I wish you all the luck in the world.
It’s been a tough 9 weeks for us, Christopher hasn’t had the best introduction to the world. Really bad colic started at 2 weeks, then we added constipation ( we sorted that but I think it’s back). Colic seems to have settled but now we have reflux. Poor little guy just can’t catch a break.
For me, sleepless nights, tears because I can’t soothe him and then tears of joy.
It’s all been worth it though when I see him smile.
The plan is to go back to Greece in the first half of next year to try for #2.
It’s been a long tough, sad and emotional journey but we got there. Don’t give up ladies, one way or another you will get your baby.

@mrsI73 woah Christopher is gorgeous. Congratulations. Sorry to hear it’s been a tough start. I hope things start to settle for you.

I’m heading over to Dr N on the 20/8 (2 weeks) for full donor. Fingers crossed.

Thank you for your beautiful message.

@babybunny88 we had the call with Dr N last night. He's very to the point but I can tell he knows his stuff. I should be feeling positive but to be honest I feel deflated. I guess I'm grieving the loss of using my own eggs. We have to do a blood test and a scan and send him photos. Is it normal to feel sad about using DE? I'm trying to get my head around it all.

Your reaction is completely normal. I think everyone is different depending on what stage of their TTC journey they are in. For me, I am now 7 years since first TTC, and I have had 2 years off to think about my options before pursuing DE. So my excitement comes from a long period of getting used to the idea of DE before starting the process. There are so many stages of grieving we have to go through with fertility treatments. The good thing is that you’ve got time until you plan to go over, so you can give that grief the attention it deserves to be able to move past it (if you do decide to move past it)

Oh that is so fantastic @Kalina. I am glad everything has (finally) worked out for you.
Maybe he just handled the stress of it all by switching off? I hope you can now all move forward as a family and leave the past behind.

Oh gosh he doesn’t look like a colicky/reflux baby at all, just gorgeous! You must be doing something right he is thriving!!
Mine was colicky as well, don’t worry you are through the worst of it now. It’s so difficult when you are sleep deprived and can’t do anything to help the poor little one. I promise it gets better real soon, keep going your doing an amazing job.

So glad you are planning a sibling best of luck xx
