Default Vaccination not showing on Immunisation History Statement

Hello hubbers, hopefully this is a quick question.

I've just downloaded DD's immunisation statement from Medicare for her school enrolment, and her status is 'not up to date' showing Varicella was due in 2011. I have the card from the doctors surgery with the handwritten note of 'VZV' and the date 2011 etc.

Am I correct in googling that VCV is Varicella, and is it easy to get this updated with Medicare? Assuming I should approach the doctors office first, not Medicare?

    Thanks for your help.

I had a similar issue with my DD immunization record not being up to date according to medicare. I phoned the go and they had not recorded the correct immunisation. Crossed checked against my record and all sorted. So yes, get in touch with your gp first.
