    Default PRP/Stem cell therapy

    Hi ladies,

Just wondering whether any one has had PRP/stem cell therapy in Perth?

My lining isn’t great this FET and just mentally preparing for the next cycle (assuming this one fails) and what we might do if it’s thin again.

PRP is the only thing I didn’t try back when I had this issue in 2017. I know Dr V in Sydney is the best but wondering whether anyone has had this treatment in Perth...would be a little more convenient 🤣

Hey, good luck with this! I asked about a specialist to do PRP in Brisbane and got no response. I then asked my FS about it and she did it! So if you don't get a lot of response on here, maybe your FS could point you in the right direction. We did it for 3 months in a row, combined with high dose estrogen, trental & vit e combo (for 4 months) and vaginal viagra gel, so definitely took some time to work. Good luck! x

Oh good to know your FS was able to do it! I’ll ask mine should this next one fail! Ive been on the other things for 6 months already, apart from the trental because it plus aspirin triggered an IBD last time we were doing ivf in 2017. I’m wondering whether I maybe develop a resistance to the meds over time

I don't know about the resistance side of things, drugs like trental etc are meant to take time to develop. As a side note, my FS doesn't believe in aspirin assisting with a FET (which is on so many standard protocols) - so don't feel you are missing out!

Hopefully you won't need the PRP, though if you do, your FS can assist! x
