I’m set to have winter babies again. DD was born in May and the twins will come July. For me I don’t think it would make much difference I think the isolation/loneliness comes with a new baby rather than the season.

My sister had a January baby and sitting cuddling him for hours on end was awful- the sweat and stickiness was so bad. I don’t know how she did it all day everyday. I much prefer winter cuddles.

Having said all of that as someone who needed multiple rounds of IVF to conceive all my babies I only ever avoided a Christmas baby. Plenty of people wouldn’t even worry about that.

If you are lucky enough to conceive easily then I say do what works for you.

i’m in a much better headspace this time around than i was with ds, so tbh the weather is largely irrelevant to me. i’m doing way more this time in winter than i did with ds in summer because i had a quicker and easier recovery this time, i’m not an anxious wreck and i think i’m just more relaxed/confident this time. i don’t know about others, but i wouldn’t be taking a tiny baby to the beach so who really cares what season it is?
We had a November and a December baby. DH and I have a thing where we go to the beach every Christmas day. So DD1 had her first trip the the beach at six weeks and DD2 six days Did check with the paed and she was in the baby capsule sleeping for most of it

I'm like GG, would struggle getting out of bed in the cold, but I hate the winter and love summer!
