    Default Cordyceps and NK cells

    Has anyone been encouraged to take Cordyceps tablets to manage elevated natural killer (NK) cells?

    I have slightly elevated NK cells and my acupuncturist said to take cordyceps. I’m on Clexane and Megafol.

    I have elevated NK CELLS too. I haven't heard of cordyceps. I don't know the name of my protocol but apparently it's very common.

    - 5mg of steroid from first stim to day before transfer
    - increase to 10mg on day of transfer until further notice
    - start Clexane 40mg on day of transfer until further notice

    sorry I'm not helpful. I hope you'll find out more about that protocol. good luck with your upcoming cycle.

    Never heard of that. Usual treatment is steroids (prednisone or dexamethsone), clexane and sometimes intralipids.

    I’ve always had a higher steroid dose. I started on 10mg increasing to 20mg but in later cycles just did 25mg throughout the cycle.

    Thanks ladies. I’m testing my HCG in next few days. Still on Clexane and had a round of Intralipids, megafol and also on Proluton (progesterone oil), progynova, Crinone now. 🤞🏼

    Am deliberately not yet on steroids, as my NK cells are borderline elevated.

    Hi ladies,

    im also doing a NKcell protocol, just wondering how many cycles or transfers have you completed doing the NK protocol before achieving a pregnancy?

    and how many of you have done the intralipid infusion?

    I’ve done 3 on immune protocol:
    1 x PGD embryo (more basic immune protocol, no intralipids, chemical pregnancy)
    2 x transfers of day 3 embryo (more robust immune protocol and intralipids, both BFN). These were pretty crappy embryos though which was why we transferred each on day 3 so not sure I can blame the immune protocol!

    Now I’m doing a donor egg cycle so I feel like it’ll get a proper test this time.

    I’m 4w3d pregnant!!!! Yay!

    I also checked my homocysteine levels (for MTHFR) and the megafol appears to have helped, from 13 to 9.

    @havnhope, I don’t use steroids. I’m had an Intralipids a week before the transfer, was on Clexane and Megafol, and now I can say I am pregnant (with donor egg).

    did you test before the blood test?
