    I think it’s much higher earlier on (180 or so?), however once things had settled this old wives tale was accurate for both of mine (girl then boy)

    I read a few articles and although it's an old wives tale, there's some truth to it but only in the last trimester. heartrate tends to be higher at the beginning due to the size of the baby. like you said, once it's settled

    just want to update that I'm having a boy and the heartrate has been around 160s mark 😬
