Default Old wives theory regarding heartbeat and gender

So I've heard a few stories where ppl say that a heart beat over 140 is girl and under indicates boy. Did anyone find this true with their baby?

At 8 weeks my first babies heartbeat was 171 and it was a boy. The heartbeat changes depending on how early/far along u are.

True for me with 3 girls - all IVF bubs scanned around the 7 week mark so not too many variables.

Worked for my first. My second hb sometimes said boy and sometimes girl. She was a girl. Also inaccurate for my 3rd.
