Default Sibling present ideas for when baby is born - 5 year olds

I've seen a few posts about present ideas for the older sibling when a baby is born, but most suggestions are for children aged 3 or less.

My eldest daughter has just turned 5 and baby will be here in about 6 weeks. I've seen the suggestion for a baby doll quite a bit, but she's got a few and loses interest quickly, so I'm looking for some other ideas please?

New baby is giving his big sister an Etchasketch, as she seems to be into that. Can it just be something your DD would like?

It doesn’t have to be baby themed. I’d go with something your 5 year old likes and maybe a couple of small, fun things for when she visits in hospital and might get bored.

yeah we got our 3 year old this cool wooden crane toy and some nice wooden construction vehicles. just stuff he would love as a gift from the incoming sibling. definitely doesn’t need to be baby themed.

My boys will be 4 and 8.

I've got a whole new winter wardrobe on layby for each (EVERYTHING they will need except shoes.....socks, jocks, beanie, slippers, clothes, jacket etc), with only $10 left. I'm going to be giving them the cash when they drop me off to the hospital on Thursday, and my mum is taking them to pick it up...

They're also staying in a cabin with my mum and df... so I'm not actually giving them a present add the holiday, baby and new clothes is their gift! (I also don't need to pack for them )

When I had ds2 I got ds1 a dvd (for his portable DVD player to entertain him in hospital), a few simple craft kits I could do with him, coloring books and a special toy

My DD's really been into playing mummies and babies since she found out about the baby, so I'm thinking about maybe a toy baby carrier for her doll. But also looking for ideas.

We got a jigsaw puzzle amongst other things for my DS for when bub was born. It was great a she could do it at the hospital and I could sit and do it with him as a nice bonding thing while I was stuck at hospital too. It’s still special to him now.
