This. Someone showing interest in bub meant so much to me.

I would originally tread carefully as requested but over time she will appreciate someone who she can be with without expectation.

About a month after DS had passed we received some beautiful flowers from friends, they arrived just as all the other flowers had died and I was really struggling with everything around us continuing normally. The card said something like “as the world keeps turning, please know we are still thinking of you”. This was a beautiful reminder that it was ok to still be sad and that people still cared.

No experience, but if you have time, I would suggest reading "Any Ordinary Day" by Leigh Sales. It has some accounts by people reflecting on their loss, and their recovery, including what helped when interacting with others.
