ETA- I ask, as DS has a chromosomal abnormality (not mosaic). We found out via NIPT at 10w.
I know, I’ve had more than a few of my embryos tossed due to testing. We’ll have to seriously consider to test or not if I have to do another pick up. I’m 40, so I just don’t know

I think we’d use the mosaics if we had to. We know the chromosomes, but I haven’t hit google at this stage yet

So DS was from an untested embryo I gather?

Yes, not tested. We didn't do pgs, as my FS doesn't like "poking holes in embryos" as she put it. I think if I did another EPU, I also wouldn't do pgs. I'm also 40, and think we're done, so it's really not anything we need to consider.

I hope we can say the same soon

Any secret tips for a successful transfer? I remember you saying you added aspirin, our fs isn’t into it for whatever reason. But everyone seems to be taking it!

I saw Dr M for immune testing, and followed his protocol (with the addition of aspirin which I chucked in on my own).
I think the only thing for a successful transfer is trying to relax in the days after the transfer.

Well, 4dp5dt. Trying to hold off testing until day before beta, which is due on Monday 🤪

Good luck! I feel you! 3dp5dt here. Have you had any symptoms?

    Oh, exciting!!

I don’t know, maybe? I’ve had an off taste in my mouth since yesterday - but surely it’s too early for it to be hcg related?

What about you? And, are you going to test?

We’ve had so many failures and set backs that I’m too scared. We have previously started testing at this stage!

@Boxergirl - that could be something!

I’ve just had cramping and a few waves of nausea/queasiness. Quite similar to early pregnancy with DD. I’m on progesterone so I can’t really rely on how I’m feeling though!

I promised DP we would wait for beta! So for us that is next Wed. Kind of glad we’re not testing so I don’t turn into a crazy person as I have done in the past 🤪

Yeah I’m 300mg progesterone per day, so that could be playing tricks for me too.

Oh well, next week will be here before we know it. DP is already putting out the lets test vibes lol

@Boxergirl - good luck for when/if you do test 🤞🏼

Was this a FET or a fresh transfer for you?
