    Default Precipitate labour

    Hi ladies,

For those who had a precipitate labour - was your next birth faster or slower?

I had my second son in 1.5 hours (unplanned home birth), now pregnant with number 3 and I know 3rd baby can be a wild card but I guess I just want to hear other's experiences

    Thank you! x

Faster each time. I count from first contraction.
    1st-6 hours
    2nd- just over 2 hours
    3rd- under 2 hours.

My 3rd I was literally in birth suite for 16 minutes before giving birth.

Mine have become so fast now that I now stress I wont make it to hospital at all so they tend to make me come in before Im in labour! So I'd be preparing for a fast birth, or possibly be induced before your due date to control the outcome. But that is only my opinion.

How did you find your home birth?

Thanks so much ladies for sharing your experiences. @Mamasupial, the home birth was pretty amazing, but mainly because my son was asleep. My objection to home births for me personally is my boys seeing me in so much pain. I know I could get them taken somewhere else but in the time that takes, I'd rather get my a** to a birth centre haha! @Rachel3072 I definitely considered an induction prior to my due date. But have decided to go with community midwives who can hopefully come out to my house and check me very early in labour
