I just got one today, just the Kmart brand one.
Now what do I do?!
We are going to do chicken schnitzels in it early in the week but I’d love to hear what you use yours for and what you recommend we not cook in it.

Who has an air fryer?
Oh my god I love my air fryer.
It makes the best schnitzels and chips. Super crispy without drying it out.
I also reheat cold pizza, and cook basically anything from the frozen aisle.
You can do so much, but I’m a terrible eater and don’t branch out
Is yours like the Phillips air fryer (don’t need to add any oil) or like the tefal one where a little oil is added?Last edited by Allanahbananah; 27-04-2019 at 12:26.

Best thing EVERRRRR!
Chips. Need I say more?! They do the best chips! I particularly like the Aldi thick cut chips in the blue package. OMG - DIVINE. Chuck them in, set it to 180 degrees for 25 minutes and give them a bit of a shake-up at the half way point. So yummy!
I find it does crumbed stuff really well. Chicken kiev - whether it be from a frozen box or from the supermarket deli - 20 minutes at 180 and they are PERFECT.
The one thing I don't do in them is freshly crumbed stuff from the butchers. I don't know about everyone else but the crumb doesn't seem to cook evenly for me? Sort of dry in places? But those cheap pre-prepared crumbed schnitzels from delis - very nice.
Fish in a box - and fish fingers - 15 minutes at 180 and YUM. 180 seems to be the perfect temp in mineWe use ours all the time. So good. So easy.

@Allanahbananah no, don’t need to add oil as far as I’m aware.

I don’t, but my parents do (Phillips Air fryer) and they love it! I was sceptical at first, but once I ate chips made in it etc, I can totally see the appeal.
They do all their mini cocktail foods in it when entertaining, such as spring rolls, dim sims, prawn cutlets, samosas, fiah bites etc, and all come out crunchy and non-greasy.
Dinner-wise, I don’t know what they cook in it, but I have heard pork is great in them.
The most oil they’ve ever used is a tablespoon (of needed).

We got the Kmart one last year & love it!! It gets used at least 4 nights a week. Weather it be chips, chicken, spring rolls, DH sometimes will put pies & sausages rolls etc in it after work if he’s hungry. I did a whole chicken in to try & OMG it was delicious. So crispy & yummy on the outside & juicy & tender on inside, definitely was a favourite. Enjoy
