    Default Progesterone pessaries Help!

Hello, I was just wondering if those of you who have had to use progesterone pessaries during a pregnancy, have then had to use them for another pregnancy?
I had a child in 2014, then 2 miscarriages and was prescribed progesterone for the next pregnancy which resulted in my son in 2017. We are trying to get pregnant again and I’m wondering if I need to contact the obstetrician as soon as I find out I’m pregnant so that I can get bloods tested etc incase I need progesterone again?
Sorry if this doesn’t make sense, I suppose I’m wondering if I needed it in one pregnancy, am I likely to need it again?
    Thank you

I’ve done and am doing ivf and therefore am always on progesterone support for early pregnancy so can’t help in that regard. But because of this I know how important a sufficient level is to sustain a pregnancy and I would definitely contact your OB to get some blood work and find out whether progesterone is required again. Hopefully you won’t need it but if you do it’s good to be on to it straight away!

I'd ring your ob and check, even if you do it before you fall pregnant so you know what they want.

I was having pessaries when ttc doing medicated cycles. I've fallen pregnant naturally and my ob doesn't want me taking the pessaries for this one. I've made it to 13w, where all my others ended at 7w or less.
