    Aw thanks! First attempt at the Dutch one. I can French braid (although not fabulously). Pretty pleased with it

    I love braids and will often make valiant attempts with DD's hair. On rare occasions when they start off resembling something akin to braids within five minutes DD's hair looks like she was attacked for nesting material by birds. Thankfully DD's made friends with an older kid at afters who regularly does her hair. Sometimes she puts in orders for how many hairbands/clips I need to send DD off with in the morning. If only she was available for special events.

    Nope. My co-ordination and dexterity are pathetic. Even doing a ponytail and getting it to sit in the centre of the back of the head (rather than skewed off slightly to the left or right) is a major challenge.
