    Default Mirena out!!!

I did it. Mirena is out!!! And so starts the journey of TTC. I'm 35 and terrified of what might happen. Between my age, having a 9yr old with autism from my first marriage, and history of complex pregnancy loss, I'm a tad terrified!

    Hi Izy

    Welcome back!

I can only imagine the range of emotions you'd have. I also have a DS who is Autistic (he's 8). He was my only pregnancy, one that was marred with complications and a premature delivery. I haven't gone back for a 2nd child, mostly out of fear of the many 'what ifs'. I'm mostly content with my decision, but I think my DS would have actually made a beautiful big brother.

Wishing you all the best for the TTC journey.

Thank you!!! It's a bit scary but I think the age gap will work wonderfully with my son. I honestly don't know how he would of coped with a sibling earlier, our and his experience of autism would of been exacerbated for sure!
