Default middle name with this first name?

so dh and i have basically always agreed that a girl we have will be called india. it’s the only name we’ve really not even had to discuss, it’s just been this automatic thing. so i think we have the first name pretty sorted.

suggestions for a middle name though? would prefer something not ending in a/er as our surname ends in er, so india xxxxa/er xxxxxer is a bit sing song. so this rules out any names ending in a as well as one i didn’t mind (hunter).

i don’t mind soleil (french for sunshine) or eve (very similar to my name). fern i don’t mind but i’m conscious of that fact that, being a place name, any kind of noun name following (eg fern) is going to sound like a plant or some kind of exotic ingredient.

    ok hit me ladies

Grace would be my first choice

Otherwise rose or Jane. As @SSecret Squirrel said... i personally would try for one syllable. It might help stop the sing songy feeling too

I agree with a one syllable name. I love Rose as a middle name for many first names. I don’t usually like Grace but I really like it paired with India. I also like going back through the family tree looking for inspiration
