I tell you now - I'll POAS on Sunday because I can't stand the suspension ☺ that'll be 8dp5dt so I think the trigger will be out of my system then. this is the first time I took Ovidrel 250.

    will you POAS?
Yeah, definitely a chance of twins, but our FS thinks the odds are slightly reduced given we've had 2 failed cycles before this one. I think my age is working against us as I'm 37. I fell pregnant twice last year naturally, but unfortunately miscarried both times. So, we're just hoping we get that 1 golden embryo that sticks around.... although, both would be amazing!

Oh yeah, there's no way I can resist testing before beta. I tested yesterday morning and it looks like my trigger is almost gone already. So, if I can wait until 8dp5dt I'll be sure it's a + if a line shows up.

I think you'll be safe by then too. Most triggers are gone by around 10 post trigger I believe.

How are you feeling today? It's so hard not to obsess over every little twinge or feeling over the few days following transfer.

I'm feeling fine. some cramps (of course πŸ˜‘) and sometimes a bit heavy down there. I don't know if that makes sense.. I think it's normal around period time because of increased blood flow. it's 6dpo so definitely not period.
🀞🏻 it means blood flow is heading in the right direction

took my first Clexane last night and it hurt like a b!tch 😠 it still hurt this morning when I woke up this morning.

keep me updated of how you go πŸ€πŸ€

    hi All

I'm having a dilemma at the moment. as you know, I've had one 5AA transferred on Saturday. today I've been told that THREE other embryos have made it to blast but the inner mass cell is graded C (A is being the best and C is being the worst).

they don't recommend freezing it. I was unsure at the time of the call (3 hours ago) so I went with the recommendation.

upon thinking further, I'm contemplating to have them all frozen. after all the grading is based on looking only. an AA grade one doesn't guarantee success. so a C grade doesnt guarantee failure. right?

it was always hard for me to get to blast. having all 4 to blast is already a miracle. somewhat it makes me feel more confident in the one I've got transferred. however I don't want to waste the C grades.

I'm waiting for my specialist to call me back.

meanwhile, I'm calling on the collective wisdom here πŸ™πŸΌ

    what do you think?

@looking4babyDEE I think the fact that you've had such a great turn around with your embryo development is amazing. You're new protocol obviously agrees with you. 😊

For what it's worth, my FS always tells me that looks aren't everything with embryos. Unless they've been PGS tested, she said you never really know as their grading is only an indication.

I've heard as many pregnancy stories out of embryos that weren't graded well as I have failed cycles. My personal opinion is that if you can freeze them, you might as well. That doesn't mean you have to use them after all.

They transferred a 4CC for me on Saturday, so I'd like to think they wouldn't do that unless they thought there was a chance it could be viable.

    I say, freeze them! ❄

Good luck with your decision. Let me know what you decide. πŸ€πŸ€—

Hopefully you get some good results tomorrow. How many were collected? Also hope you feel okay and not in too much pain.

Did you go local or under general for epu?
@Allanahbananah how did you go with egg retrieval? I have mine tomorrow,

so far they could see 10 good size follicles bigger that 10mm, and at least another 10 smaller. i always have so many eggs but only a few make it to transfer.

they have also told me that they will not be doing a fresh transfer cause my progesterone went up.

Ladies, has this happened you that your progesterone is too high at the last blood test before EPU that they wont do a FT?

I had 17 follicle at scan, got 11 eggs yesterday and just got the message that 9 fertilised.

Local was actually fine. I had one panadiene forte and 1 Valium, no whistle. local injections were stingy for about 3-5 second each, then the ovaries needles were a littl uncomfortable but it’s wasn’t pain, just weird due to the pressure of moving around inside you. The worst pain was that I bleed a little so she pressed a thing against my cervix to stop the bleeding but that was only like a minute and not bad enough for me to ask them to stop. I wouldn’t hesitate to do it this way again.

Was tender for the rest of day, mostly uncomfortable, not painful as such. Feeling good today, but took the extra day of work anyways

I haven't got that problem. I'm always on progesterone when stimming. I have read in many forums that transfer get cancelled due to high progesterone though. not sure what the implication is.

wishing you all the best with pick up today and great fertilisation rate tmr 🀞🏻
