Personally I think he probably was a paedo, but money, especially extraordinarily exorbitant amounts of money can cover up anything. I also think it is interesting he was very careful about who his 'victims' were. Not the rich ones like Culkin. Convenient. Nobody ever believes poor people because they put it down to "wanting money or extortion".
Just because you're talented and rich doesnt mean you are a good person.

    I’m just totally over it.
Michael Jackson is dead, there’s no chance of “justice” now.
I also am uncomfortable that he cannot defend himself.
We’ve been over this all a trillion times and it serves no purpose - apart from monetary gain.
Those who could of spoken out, such as the maid, should have long ago.

I'm not sure... when you have someone who is very famous, you have haters. If they be a bit controversial and quirky...well that just adds fuel to the fire.

I definitely get weirdo vibes from him, but I'm not sure if they're *That* kind of weirdo vibe.
He was a very talented artist, it will take someone very special to equal him.

If there are victims out there, I do feel for them, but why now? Apart from monetary gain, I can't see any other reason. Surely hashing out your experience would be like re-living it...I can't imagine that to be pleasant

I’m not/have never been a fan of MJ personally.. but somehow my son ended up a huge fan of him & his music.
Would I allow my son to be a fan of someone I believed had molested children.. no way.
My honest gut feeling is he never did anything, and was more just greatly misunderstood. He was basically like a child himself, wanting to live the childhood he never got to have. I think it really warped his mind. Throw in an abusive father.
He was innocent at heart I believe.

I heard a disturbing thing now is, that the ‘victims’ families are asking for MJ ‘s body to be exhumed so they can do DNA testing in response to the latest molestation allegations.

I feel like (either way) it’s a little too late, the horse has well and truly bolted on this one.

    I'm sorry that's just sick.
I'm not religious but seriously, what are they hoping to achieve? Innocent or not, he's passed. Just leave him be

I read that the other day. Yes things probably happened but the only thing people coming forward now want to achieve is getting rich and in turn it will destroy his kids lives

Honestly, I've felt for a long time he probably did abuse those kids. I wouldn't have thought any high profile person would pay off people who accused them of this like he did. I think there were 3-4 court cases that ended in settlements? I think the Wade in the clip may have been one of them? I vaguely recall one of the kids being a Wade. Anyway, if someone accused me of that, there is no way in hell I would ever pay them off. I would fight to the death to clear my name.

Having said that, but certainly not excusing it, he didn't have a normal childhood. His father was physically abusive and saw his kids as money making machines. I have always felt his surgery and skin bleaching (I don't buy the vitiligo story) was about trying to distance himself from his father and run away from his life, and who can blame him. He clearly had some issues and may not have thought what he did was wrong. I also think he was probably in the closet and didn't know how to deal with adult life. He was never allowed to have a proper childhood, and let's face it, most of the Jackson kids have mental health issues. They have to from some of the behaviors over the last 30 years.

It's sad. He was extremely talented. I was a teenager in the 80's. I think the first vinyl album I ever bought myself was Thriller. His first few albums and the way he moved were just magic. His last few, not so much. I remember seeing him moonwalk for the first time. It blew my mind. But he because almost a caricature of himself. The videos got too long and bloated as people looked to exploit him and for me, the magic was lost in the over-commercialisation of his talent as everyone tried to cash in.

I do feel sorry for these men though. They were told many years ago their truth didn't matter. I can understand them wanting to speak out now, even though it was decades ago. Having worked with survivors before, it may have taken them this long to be strong enough to do it. It may have taken years of therapy to get them to this point. There is a huge stigma still on being male and being assaulted whether as a child or an adult. The feelings of shame and responsibility for keeping the secret "or we'll go to jail/get in trouble/I'll hurt your family" etc have huge impacts on people's lives. It's the same as the inquiry into the Catholic Church. Just because the offenses are historical and the perpetrators are old or gone, doesn't mean that their victims should have to remain silent. They have a right to speak their truth and have people hear them. So yeah, I may not watch it, but I do believe that it's likely to be true. And that makes me sad for everyone involved, including MJ and his kids.

I’ve always been a little surprised at how vigorously MJ is defended.
    I’m not saying I know he’s guilty. I don’t.
I’m just surprised at the absolute certainty so many people seem to have that the alleged victims are lying, and he must be innocent.
It just seems at odds with how other accused celebrities are treated.
The guy admitted to having children sleep in his bed.
This does not a pedophile make.
But where were his staff/minders/managers/agents/family to tell him this is not a good idea?
Even after the settlement with Chandler’s family he still had children sleep in his bed.
I can imagine that speaking out against him would have been dangerous.
I can also imagine the lure of millions.
I don’t see any personal gain to the alleged victims speaking now. They won’t get a cent. There will be no justice, MJ is dead. They will be crucified in media including social media. They will end up the butt of jokes and memes.
Maybe they do just want their truth to be heard?

I’m probably biased, I was never a fan, I found him creepy. His speaking voice, his plastic surgery (which he denied... seriously cmon) the whole Peter Pan thing.
