Far out!!! I'm going private in Melbourne, but that's not included! Nor is room service and a menu to order off. Can I have this bub at the Mater?!?!

Come on up my friend!!!! When are you due?

I went for a tour of the hospital and I was shocked by how lovely it was.. They even take bubs off you and into the nursery if you need a rest and bring them to you for feeding.

I had been there before and was just impressed by the meals.. Restaurant quality, if you can believe that!!

Not until July, but I might have trouble getting my ob to come with me

@ldydth, I’m tossing between Mater and North Shore Private, thinking NSP is better given it’s next to the Royal North Shore (public).

May I ask who’s your obstetrician and if you are going for a c-section?

I stayed at the Mater but my ob was at NSP so he had to drive to Mater. I thought about NSP but everything was going so well during my pregnancy I wasn't going to need RNS so chose Mater! Yes, I had a scheduled c-section :-)
My ob is currently on a sabbatical and won't return until Jan next year I'm afraid, but he was so amazing. When are you due?

Thanks! Your Ob did your c-section at mater right? I do wish to be at Mater. Just met Dr Stephen Morris who delivers at both Mater and NSP. Who did you see? I’m due 23 Feb 2020.
