The only problem if you go to Greece within that time frame is if it didn’t work and you had frosties you couldn’t use them or if it did work and you wanted a sibling if you had frosties, you couldn’t.
So, at your age I’d be sticking to countries that will allow you to cycle past 50.
Slovakia - no offical age limit but many clinics set their own age they will treat up to 50-52
north cyprus - easy to get treatment up until age 54-56 depending on which clinic ( have an extensive donor pool)
Russia - most clinics will treat to 50-51
Ukraine- no offical age limit, but clinics set their own
    Georgia - as with Ukraine

That's a good idea! I'll give them a call... couldn't see him without getting on a plane as we moved state two years ago. Plenty of clinics here in QLD though if Repromed won't help.

@ubrmthr you need to look at north Cyprus as the south have an age limit of 50 as you that’s the Greek side, I’m going to a clinic called Dogus.

Also check how they define the age limit. Ie 50 in some countries means you can’t transfer after your 50th birthday but in others it means you can transfer right up until the day before your 51st birthday. So there a year difference there!

Yes, I think this is something to take into account. I can't see us going back for a sibling as we already have 6 (all girls). We are really after just one sibling for the youngest (only child for my second husband).

I heard back from IVF Spain and they said 'get the ball rolling now as you are turning 50 as after 50 there are special requirements'.

Meanwhile my DH has had a bit of a backtrack on the whole idea. He wants me to try the PRP ovarian rejuvenation treatment offered by Demeter in Sydney. (not that they ever get back to me). I love how he believes in my fertility so strongly, but I've cried a bit about it.

Hi hun, hugs to you and your DH. This post has been months ago - how are you?

@stacey10 how was your experience at Dogus? I plan to visit the place this April along with another clinic I'm eyeing as well.
