i think that’s logical and reasonable. i’ll prob do the same. get my hair done in the days leading up to it as i know i won’t be that mobile or up to doing much after. my hair is crap and needs washing daily so i’ll just take dry shampoo with me. i just want a nice pic on the day of the birth. i looked like i’d been hit by a jumbo jet after ds (long labour and no sleep then emergency cs) and we got basically no pics. none in theatre and the midwife offered to take one of us together in recovery but i look awful. so yeah, as vain as it sounds, i would like a nice post-cs pic. just hope i don’t shake like a leaf or turn deathly white this time.

You prob still will shake but at least you know to expect it. I did both time worse with ds in theatre then with dd but with her when they rolled me and the blocker had worn I they then handed her to me to feed and hold her after my vomit and as she has her suck I had contractions. Ffs that hurt ! One of the midwives even got it on camera just so that I can remember it. I’ve been looking at all the pictures over the last few thinking and can’t believe ds is 3 in 5 months & dd will be 1 in 6 months. Time has flown by to fast
