Default Price of celery where you live

Out of interest how much is a bunch of celery at the moment (ie today / this week) where you live? I went fruit and veg shopping today and was shocked to see celery was $6.99 a bunch in my local fruit and veg shop. Beans were $19.99 / kg. I'm trying to work out if is a Qld drought / flood thing or if the price of veges have skyrocketed everywhere.

Wowsers! I bought a half head of celery yesterday and pretty sure it was under $2. Will see if I can find the receipt.

Omg that’s hilarious. I too was complaining about the price of celery today. I didn’t look at the price when I picked it up, only when I went through the register. But yep, $7 a bunch at the fruit and veg shop

4.90 at my local Coles online. But everything is going to sky rocket because of the drought & now flooding. I’m turning my veggie patches again this week ready plant the next season.

There's a juice trend thing going around at the moment where you drink an entire head of celery juiced every morning. I'm guessing it's driving up demand. Or just easy money for the shops

Am I the only person that hates celery? I can’t even put it in a stew or sauce because I can still taste it.

No way I would be paying $7 for it!!!
