    Default Torvi

    Hi Ladies,

Hubby and I are currently loving the name Torvi, it’s a Nordic girl’s name, not made up!

Is it too out there for an Aussie baby? We are blonde with blue eyes so I think bubs would pull off the Nordic thing. Do you hate it? Could it grow on you? Anything bleedingly obviously that we are missing?

Happy for blunt and rude feedback! Or positive feedback, that’s welcome too!

Middle name suggestions? Surname starting with ‘Em’

Just reminds me of the Vikings tv show and the character named Torvi. I don't think it's a bad thing, just first thing that comes to mind.

This is my first thought too, but I love Torvi, she’s awesome. I don’t think it’s bad name, but you will get people asking if it’s from the show.

I automatically think of Vikings tv show also. If it’s a name you love I say use it & don’t worry what other people say.

It's one of those names I'd think was 'different' and would curiously google to see if it had any origins. I personally hadn't heard of it and I've never met a Torvi in real life.

It's not my cup of tea, but I don't hate it either.

It ok, it’s not terrible but it is very unusual. Torah is possibly an option but go with Torvi if you love it !
