@Superaunty I’m not cycling in Greece atm, I’m going to north Cyprus and so far I’ve found only one clinic there that does embryo adoption/donation which are from double donors, €2500 for 3 embryos. There are clinics in Spain that do donated embryos/embeyo adoption, Spanish law allows embryos from other couple to be used for adoption, also some clinics in Ukraine do them as well. Also some clinics in the Czech Republic do them as well, although you need to have a partner to go there.

    Default Finally some answers

I am sooooooooooo angry and frustrated right now.

I have been seeing my gyno for many years, he knows I've miscarried many times over, he knows I miscarried the donor embryos.

I went to see Dr Gamal Mathais again for my blood test results and he found the following:
    high NK cell count
high cell count for causing blood clots in an embryos placenta
high probability of auto immune diseases where i am prone to stomach problems, skin allergies etc - this one i already knew lol

So if i go through embryo transfer again, i have to be on some kind of daily injections for a few months, once a week for a few months go on an intralipid infusion through an iv and also go on prednisone

WHY didn't my gyno test me for this? He's an ivf specialist and he still did NOT test me for this. WHY? omg

Before i went for the embryo transfer I asked him were there any other tests I should have done before i go. He said no.

Sorry, if you find an expletive in here, it slipped, I have typed some but removed them straight away, I think I got them all. I'm just so upset, angry, frustrated. Add to that this month marks anniversaries of my grandparents deaths, and my dad's death.

I just feel like ringing my gyno and saying I want to be refunded for everything I paid out for my greece trip as he could have prevented this to begin with.

    ggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Sorry, thanks for hearing me out.

[/QUOTE @hopefulsh im so sorry to hear this. Its crap that some drs and good and some arent. Its really unfair.
Dont worry about swearing, bubhub censors them with asterisks anyway. You can get away with "bloody" and "fruck" so they're my go to words.
Some FS just dont believe in immune stuff but after repeated miscarriage, esp.with donor eggs they should have done something.
Im glad you've got a new plan from dr.m
Id say the daily injections are clexane, which is a common blood thinner which will prevent the blood clotts.
The prednisolone and intrallipids are used to lower your immune response, or stop your immune system from reacting to the "foreign" embryos.
Its totally understandable to be upset because its crap that people just experiement with our lives, hopes, dreams and bloody finances. DE ivf is so expensive that you shouldnt have to just try and wait and see.
So many ladies have had success using dr.m so i hope next time it will work for you too.
Dont feel bad about venting, thats part if what our thread is for xx

You might want to look at donors in SA. Although the law currently makes them anonymous in their information many of them say they are open to contact if the law should change. I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be too hard for a DE child to find their donor parent if the parent is willing to be found.

@Kalina we also have to make the ‘what to do with our remaining embryo’s’ decision. Currently we are just leaving them frozen for as long as possible (free for 10 years or until you turn 50 at Ovum). However 50 is looming for me!
Ultimately i am leaving it up to DH as I do not have any genetic link to them so I think it is his decision to make (just my opinion).

Oh and @Superaunty im sorry about giving you a bum steer about the adopted embryos at embryoland. I was sure dr.n said he had some from ladies whod turned 50 or couples donating ones they didnt plan to use. Maybe he just doesnt have any available atm or it was something he used to do but doesnt do it anymore. I haven't been there since May 2017 so situation might be different now. I honestly thought my daughter was from adopted embryos/like re- donated. But perhaps she was from a cycle done just for us? But yeah, by the last time I went there, i didnt even ask any questions. All i knew was that there were 2 lovely donor embryos for me to transfer and I was so tired and really didnt think they would work so I didnt think it would matter anyway. I only actually asked for the donor info sheets after my 6 week scan when i actually thought i might really be getting a baby.
