@Lozzylou79 it’s never an easy road. We are on our 5th cycle and none of the previous 4 have been smooth or gone to plan.

    🤞 you emby sticks.

These couple of days between getting AF and starting stims have been HARD. The lack of hormones really affects everything and I have been the most narky and critical person. Anyway, doing my first shot of menopur in approximately an hour I also realized that we have been at our clinic for a year now and actually had an appointment at 1 year to the hour of our first last Friday.

So I did my first injection this morning! My husband was hovering around to take over if I freaked out... But the numbing cream was AMAZING! Did not feel a thing was easy as! I was more stressed about letting my husband stab me so I had to tough it out. [IMG][/IMG]

We had a fresh transfer on Wednesday and found out today the second embryo didn’t make it. Now I’m just waiting for the blood test. I experienced a lot of pain following the egg collection, they had to do it abdominally as my ovaries are sitting high up for some reason. Has anyone else gone through this? Praying this little freshy sticks. Baby dust to you all
I’m so sorry you’ve had a tough road. When is your BT? Hoping that little emby has settled in nicely.

I’m also trying for number 3, I’ve done 4 FETs to no avail we now have to decide if we want to start from scratch. I know I’m incredibly blessed to have 2 healthy children but doesn’t take away the desire for a 3rd. However I feel guilty to keep trying... financially it’s taking a toll!

Sorry to hear your FETs haven’t worked the whole process is financially, physically and emotionally draining but if we end up with a precious baby it will all be worth it! I keep thinking if it’s meant to be it will be. My blood test is supposed to be 23/3 which is a Saturday, I live in the country so it will either have to be the Friday before or Monday after, have to check with my FS what she prefers.

Hi new member. Let me tell you my story! I came off the pill in July 2017 I got pregnant straight away, baby in womb, 6 weeks miscarried in November bleed for 6 week and HGC pregnancy hormone was taking longer then expected to go back to zero. Normally 2 weeks for me both times 6- 12 week bleed after miscarriage.

The second miscarriage February 2018 this was in a unknown location and lots of heavy bleeding, emergency twice no pain though! This the doctors called it a suspected cornual pregnancy, a ectopic in a unknown location! Also gave me a low dose of chemo methotrexate to breakdown the cells to get rid of pregnancy naturally. This again took weeks for the HGC levels to go down until late April! With my miscarriages I didn’t have no operations I’ve had all my checks done and tubes and ovaries are fine. I was on a thyroxine for thyroid. Now off them because bloods were fine. Been trying since July 2018 and nothing. Got sperm and tubes and eggs all good. When to see specialist at IVF Australia and was getting regular blood tests to track ovulation got another appointment on Monday for a pregnancy test. I’m not pregnant haven’t done a test but no symptoms. Then got appointment on Tuesday with specialist to start my ivf journey. I feel so frustrated and just want to start a family I’m 37 in July and time is ticking. I’m feeling angry and being really short and ratty with my husband.

    Default *day 6 update*

    ----------------------------------
background: female 34, male 35 / MFI (low count, mobility and morphology) / MTHFR & elevated NK cells.
    ----------------------------------
    3rd egg retrieval on Monday 11th ---> 10 eggs
update on tiesdat 12th ---> 6 mature and 1 fertilised
    ----------------------------------

    hi all

just thought I'd give you an update. spoke to the embryologist and received the bad news today.

the only and one embryo didn't make it on day 6. it was a fighter despite the poor egg quality to start off. it passed all the hurdles, up until forming a blast, when it attempted to make the cavity / inner cell mass a few times but struggled and started to deteriorate. it even reabosorbed all the fragments and the vacuole, which is eye opening.

    so close but not quite!!

I'm moving on to another specialist as I've now had a closure. I've given 3 attempts / cycles so that the protocol can be adjusted but it got worse and worse, plus the unacceptable service and care level.

I might need some time off if recommended by the new FS. she wants me to do a laparoscopy just to be sure. I understand that it'll need some recovery time. will join the monthly IVF board once I start again.

all the best to eveyeone who's in TWW you're all wonderful!!

After a 4 month break, I forgot about the crazy mood meltdowns 🤯 I’m day 17 of synarel and day 3 of menopur and wow, surprised myself. I haven’t eaten chocolate since 31/12 and could really go some now

Oh man, this has bummed me out. I was feeling so positive about your little embryo. Hopefully your new FS will be the last piece of the puzzle. Good luck and I look forward to reading the rest of your (hopefully very short) journey 🤞

I can’t remember feeling that way with Synarel, but my advice is just give in to cravings. There’s no point in denying yourself that little bit of pleasure when you’re going through such a huge emotional, physical and mental rollercoaster. Enjoy, hope the chocolate is everything you felt it would be!

I’m currently 6dp5dt and feeling a little crampy so not holding out much hope. My beta isn’t until this coming Friday but I don’t know if I’ll test before then. My last FET ended up being a chemical and it was so hard to see all those + only for it to all fall apart in the end.
