ahhhh ok. so from the outside it looks like a horizontal LUSCS incision, but internally it’s a vertical cut. didn’t even know that was possible! i find this stuff fascinating!

sorry to derail thread OP x

Yep from the outside it looks ‘normal’ but the uterine cut is vertical. It causes much higher chance of rupture.

Very different to an exit procedure like the OP but similar risks.

Some of these things may have been said, apologies if they have.

    Motilium
Fenugreek - though this sometimes has the opposite effect and actually decreases supply, so be careful with that
Milo - I had a few stressful things happen while feeding dd3 which heavily impacted my supply. Cold milk with 3-4 heaped tablespoons of milo before bed and I would be engorged the next morning
Beer - Coles sell a non alcoholic beer. The hops in it can increase supply
Expressing - especially while bub is on the other side
    Lactation cookies
Making sure you eat enough and are well hydrated

Default Encouraging milk to come in after cesarean

I agree that every time may be a different experience. I had a vaginal birth with first. Milk came in at 48 hours. Second bub was cs, came in earlier . I’d never actually heard that cs makes milk come in later. I actually thought it comes in from the removal of placenta , whether nat or cs
