    Default Nursery ideas

    Hi,

Just looking at setting up the nursery and trying to decide what works best with a darker wood cot and changetable - light or bright colours? If anyone has any pics of how they've done up a nursery with a darker wood cot that would be much appreciated! Thanks

we have white furniture in nursery but have recently repainted our house and have dark furniture in house. we used dulux white cloak quarter and its really nice with the dark furniture. for colours just use manchester and wall art to add colour.

I think it depends on the style of your house and also the colour and type of flooring. I have a darker wood cot but Bub is sleeping right now. Will try and remember a pic in the morning.

Here are some pics of the nursery we had in Australian (moved to NZ when DS was 5.5 months old)
All of our furniture is that really dark chocolate Bali style and we thought bright colours would be best. We just got wall stickers off the wish app for a few dollars each and they were amazingly easy to attach and take off again when we sold our house. It completely depends on your own person style though, I think most themes would go with darker furniture IMG_2870.jpgIMG_2873.jpg

We have dark furniture and we painted it a bright jungle green colour and I put a white sticker tree on the wall. Looks great, everyone was worried about the green, but when they all see it they all say it looks fantastic.
