So, we finally have the ability to stream (rural=stupid internet, until now) and are looking at Netflix and Stan.
What is 'better' in your opinion?
What are the main differences between the two in terms of shows available, quality, choice?
Any opinions greatly appreciated.

Netflix or Stan?

We have both, I personally am loving Stan recently as they've just added Disney/Pixar and Marvel movies, so lots of new content.
I'd sign up for the free month with both and have a dig around on what shows are available I each.

Another with both here. Honesty I couldn't choose one or the other, there are so many awesome things on both.

omg what a timely thread. dh is literally just signing up to stan. we’ve had netflix for ages which we love. dh wants to get stan for the marvel stuff for himself and the disney stuff for ds. i’ve had a quick flick through and nothing stands out for me really but i’m more than happy with netflix. if i had to choose one, i’d go with netflix.

I like them both.
Sometimes I have both, sometimes one or the other.
I’d try Netflix first, view and enjoy the content, then switch to Stan when you want some different options.

I have them both for $20 total I can’t complain
You could always do the 30 day free trial on each and see what you think

Thanks, I have thought about signing up for both but I didnt really want to be watching stupid amounts of TV! 😂
Maybe I'll start with Netflix then next month switch to Stan to see the difference.
Just out of curiosity, do you get the same stuff in Australia as you do in the US or do we get ripped off in Australia with lesser content?

I’m rural too and just got the ability to stream earlier in the year. Omg it’s amazing! I don’t get much time to watch TV but it’s nice to know it’s there
. We started with Netflicks which the kids like as they can see the pics and know what they’re choosing. Before we had Foxtel and the youngest can’t read so she loves the freedom Netflix gives her. We just signed up for Stan as well as DD1 wanted to watch Matilda and it was on there

Netflix has a better search engine then Stan and more up to date movies
Stan has older movies but new to Stan DISNEY CLASSICS !
