    Default Altina Wildlife Park

Has anyone taken their children here? It’s in Darlington Point NSW according to google.
My hairdresser said it was amazing and we usually take DS for an experience for his birthday rather than presents. It looks incredible but I’m not sure if it’s great for kids so young (DS will be 5 years old)
Our other option is probably Taronga zoo in Sydney. Or may be able to head down to Mogo Zoo.

    Opinions please xx

Not sure where you are located but Symbio wildlife park in Helensburgh NSW is great for young kids. They have a petting area, a playground and a new splash park.

Thanks! I’ve never heard of it. I will look into it!

    Default Altina Wildlife Park

I went a couple of years ago with my little ones as a preschool excursion. I thought it was okay, and most of the other parents raved about it.

This is some pics from it.

Just to give you an example of what you can see on it. We went on a big horsedrawn carriage all together which the kids just adored.

Edit to add: All the kids were between 3-5 years of age mostly. The keepers scheduled feeds and stuff so it was exciting for the kids.

Thanks so much! The kids didn’t get a bit bored with having the whole tour and talking thing? Ds gets bored quickly.

It wasn’t like a lot of yours where they speak on and on about everything. Plenty of stops to watch them feed and stuff and we even got to get out and feed the goats at one stage. It was actually quite engaging and kept the kids occupied

Thanks so much! It’s sounding pretty amazing! It has hyenas (a favourite of mine) so it’s high on my list lol
