When I find it. I have the elf door so might set that up next to the front door with a little table and chairs with a beer in hand haha

Mine come in a little Christmas sleigh I bought. I usually use the kids toys to pull it, but this year I got a metal reindeer for $7 from Kmart to go with it.

We got our tree today (it’s real so has to sit for 24 hours before I can dress it!) so Buddy will sit in it with a present he brings for DS and a welcome letter (Ooshie advent calendars)
This is my 5th year - I’m struggling for new ideas so I’ll be watching you ladies for new ideas

This is our first year doing elf on a shelf. DD is almost 2.5 so she doesn’t get the whole “elfie tells Santa if you’ve been good” thing as yet. She knows Santa only comes to good girls so hopefully it works, I just got him mainly to do funny things so she can “find him” every morning & see what he’s done. I will be following to see what all you ladies do also.

Can I ask how you introduced him the first time?? Was it a letter or something along those lines?? Xo

We will be putting the tree up tonight and putting lights only on it as tomorrow after a morning at little athletics we are taking the kids to their grandparents for the night as we have a Christmas party. Evie will be on the tree I think and we usually put the elf on the shelf book under the tree. This year we’ve decided that instead of pjs and things on Christmas Eve instead Evie will bring a 1st December box which will have pjs, a book, advent calendar(hatchimals and my felt handmade one), their Santa stockings (I need to hustle when the kids are in bed to finish a stocking for my youngest that I am making, unless I decide to fill the box again with their stockings on Christmas Eve hmm ). Our Evie has special jumpers and outfits which make it easier sometimes she doesn’t need to be doing much but might be changed into her tutu or her Xmas jumper or her Batman mask.
